How to check self-growth

Japanese life

Are you worried that you haven’t grown up for what you’ve done so far?

If you do something for work or hobbies, you will want to improve. However, even if I work on it every day, I think it’s hard to notice self-growth.

If you don’t feel self-growth, you may think, “Is it meaningful as it is?”

Even if I write a blog article that I have been doing for 3 years and update the note every day, I often see people’s articles and think “I’m still alive”.

But I never thought of quitting my blog. Because I think it has changed when I compare it with myself in the past.

If you update it almost every day, the number of articles on your blog will increase steadily. I have already posted more than 180 articles on the blog that I started in November 2020 to write out the information in my head. This is the result of writing one article a day, but at first I didn’t think I could write this much.

Also, I try to review the article three months after writing it, but there are many things that I notice, such as feeling uncomfortable with the text and changing the way it is organized.

By repeating this cycle, I thought, “I wonder if I’m better than I used to be,” and I’ll write a blog post today as well.

How to check self-growth?

In today’s information-oriented society, it is easy to find people who can do it. It’s easy to compare with such a person, but the person who should be compared is the past self. While trying to catch up with those who can, it is also important to make sure that you are making progress compared to your past self.
